Description

Verbals (and verbal phrases which include gerund, participle, and infinitive) have many complex angles. This coloring sheet will allow students to practice identification and then color by grammar. As a bonus, I’ve included 20 additional sentences in a worksheet format.

All verbals (participles, infinitives, and gerunds) are covered. This download contains 40 practice sentences for verbals and verbal phrases.

Included in this verbals coloring activity:
❄️ A coloring sheet (snowflake), with parts of the snowflake numbered.
❄️ 20 practice sentences that each contain an underlined verbal or verbal phrase. Students will need to identify each one as a gerund, participle, or infinitive.
→ DIFFERENTIATION OPTION! If students do not need the verbal underlined, a sheet is included where students must find the verbal and then color. Same sentences, just another degree of difficulty.
❄️ A coloring key. Each verbal is assigned a color.
❄️ An answer key, and a picture of a finished sheet.

For an alternative, I have included another set of 20 sentences. These sentences have the same format as above, but they do not have a coloring sheet.
