Description
Analyze twelve main characters from Romeo and Juliet by completing an infographic for each character in this digital product—perfect for Google Classroom. Popular in social media, bring infographics to the classroom as a fun alternative to graphic organizers. If you do not have access to digital sharing for students, you can print these and use them as pencil/paper activities.
You will receive a link to a Google Drive document in this download for Romeo and Juliet. If you do not want to complete this activity digitally, feel free to print the infographics.
Specifically in this Romeo and Juliet character activity:
❋ Each character— Juliet, Romeo, Montague, Lady Montague, Capulet, Lady Capulet, Nurse, Tybalt, Benvolio, Mercutio, Friar, and Prince— has his/ her own infographic. Ask students to complete common facts about each character: indirect characterization, direct characterization, conflict, and revealing quotes. YOU CHOOSE WHAT STUDENTS ANALYZE. This portion is editable—the pictures are not.
❋ The format of each infographic is similar, but the middle images are different for each one.
❋ An answer key is provided.
Since the infographic form is open-ended, evaluate students on ability, effort, or support provided. These infographics work well as review or note-taking. I’ve included ways to use these Romeo and Juliet graphic organizers.
