Links and Lattes

I am shocked that the TpT Conference is upon us! My husband reminded me to make a boarding reservation for the dog, and I thought we had plenty of time. I’m excited to meet some of you all!

My daughter and I are currently reading the Katie Kazoo series. Very fun, cute. It is my ‘light’ summer reading.

Links and Lattes.

Here’s what I read this week.

1. Blogging this summer?

Summer break is catch-up time for lots of teachers. If you’re wanting to blog more but struggling to meet your quota, this piece covers how to be a more prolific writer.

2. Parental rights.

Arne Duncan laid out what he believes every parent should expect and receive regarding their children’s educations.

3. Evolution of a reader.

Lauren Apfel’s article about how children change as they read and become independent readers is sweet.

4. Misspelling words.

Grammar.net has the top 10 words with challenging spellings. I would like to add ‘entrepreneur.’

5. Movies + TpT Products.

Created for Learning has a new blog post covering do’s and don’t’s for using images of movies in your products.

Last week, Everything Ed had the most clicks with his post about organization. Thanks for all the clicks, everyone!

Here is the linky for this week. Please share, pin, and visit a few of our contributors. Have a great week!
